Very glad to announce that the first gig at Pampus on Saturday 22nd May was a great success with beats flowing the whole night between dj 340MPS and the band. We should be expecting more parties in the future on Saturday at Pampus Curacao. Pampus is located on the shore of the Waaigat waterbay, next to The Boat and The Movies. Music starts at 9:30pm on Saturdays with live music at 10:30pm. It goes well into the night. Keep an eye on the calendar section of the website to see when 340mps will be playing there next.

We are at Moon this Saturday to throw the first pool party. All afternoon and into the night the speakers will be smoking. Starting at 2pm DJ AO and 340mps will be entertaining you at the decks. Get ready for 10 hours of house, deep house, funky house, breaks, hip-hop, lounge, you name it, we will have all the time in the world to spin it!

Moon is setting us up by the pool next to a specially set cocktail bar. Drink specials will be available so get your swim suit, sun lotino and appetite for beats and meet us at Moon Beach Club Curacao Saturday 28th November from 2pm on.

I’ve worked through a very nice selection of tracks and I am positive that this set is a bomb shell. Circling around latin-house at the start to move towards some fiery breakbeat including the massive diplo & his blow your head which my speakers can barely contain, onto the dance floor with good club house!  Here is the playlist and you can download the recorded session “340mps Live @ Avalon” below: (update 22/4/09: after reviewing the mix I realize that I still have long ways to go with Traktor Pro. I unfortunately had to spend too much time before this gig sorting out Traktor Pro’s mess. I have to admit that it took the fun out the preparation and has induced quite a bit of stress. It is evident that now that the setup is fairly stable, what I need to do is re-focus on the music and improve the set. thank you thank you thank you for coming out on saturday and shift to summer hours amongst us at the kerryman. we received many compliments on the music this weekend which leads me to believe that people drunk quite a bit more than usual thanks to the rising temperatures. it was good to see india deployed throughout the pub and to drop some punjabi beats putting some hands up in the air.

drove off from the kerrymanlast night with massive grins on our face. it definitely was the perfect time for courtney to come and visit with karen. the house went mad as we dropped solid tunes until the lights came on. there is nothing like a crowd bouncing off from wherever they can launch themselves from to testify that your bass lines are hitting target.
